In 1993 we moved to Chandler to raise our family.  We have been delighted with our choice as we’ve (and our children) have come to know many great families throughout the community.  In raising our four children, we’ve come to know first-hand the outstanding educational program offered by the Chandler Unified School District.  For those considering a move to Phoenix, Arizona and its surrounding communities (Chandler, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Maricopa, Casa Grande, Gold Canyon, Apache Junction), we’ve got the bead on education … just ask us, we know!

Community Involvement

A good portion of our time invested in our community has revolved around our children’s lives, as they’ve had opportunity to participate in school, sports, music and scouting.  Russell has been actively involved as a volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America (http://www.grandcanyonbsa.org) for the past 12 years at both the Local and District levels.  He has served as Scoutmaster, Eagle Scout Specialist, and Charter Representative. Russell has also served as one of the three principal members of a non-profit organization called ‘The Kestrel Box’.  The charter for ‘The Kestrel Box’ (http://www.mhsw.com/kbox) is to care for injured Birds of Prey AND to conduct educational seminars via the Boyce Thompson Arboretum (http://arboretum.ag.arizona.edu), school festivals and Scouting events.

Marianne has volunteered as the PTO Treasurer at Jacobson Elementary (http://ww2.chandler.k12.az.us/jacobson-elementary) and as an Art Masterpiece and Rocket Club instructor.  She also helped to organize and teach a group of about 25 girls from the Chandler greater community to sing & perform, called “Kids Love Music”.  Currently, Marianne is serving as President of a local Young Women’s organization, presiding over nearly 20 young ladies ages 12 to 18.

Complimenting her interests in Real Estate by helping others with important decisions, Marianne also enjoys helping career professionals look their very best.  As an emerging Image Consultant, Marianne is learning both the Art and the Science behind this fascinating field.  Interlacing color, fabric, and personal accessories that compliment and highlight individual personalities, Marianne is sure to make you look a WINNER!

Over the past several years, Russell has been experimenting with ways to help others record, share and publish their life events and stories.   Through a newly launched website called GrandpaTellMe.com, this site is designed to make it FUN and EASY for anyone to capture the memories and stories of their lives and from the lives of their loved ones.  Once recorded through GrandpaTellMe.com, these priceless family legacies can be shared over and over again and made available for future generations to come.
